I started this make your own embellishment challenge with a previously made paper towel that had an assortment of mopped up inks and acrylics, on it. There's even a bit of metallic gold in there. It was in sort of a triangular shape and reminded me of a pizza slice, so I helped that shape a bit by tearing here and there. I made the crust with another paper towel which I colored by mopping up some distress inks. I then twisted it into the desired shape, clipped it to my chain link fence with clothespins to dry in the sun. Lucky me, 80 degrees today. I covered the slice with matte medium so the confetti cheese would stick and then added black colored reinforcement circles for olives, scraps of brown paper for sausage and the pepperoni was done by coloring and triple embossing for thicker dimension. I layered the slice onto a silver baked good liner that I cut into a circle. All was served on a white card. so fun and actually quite easy. I have to make a few Pizza and beer cards every year to thank local companies that contribute to the art collective gallery I belong to.

I've occasionally used the paper towel from my spray box, but I've never set out to use it as a starting ingredient. I'm impressed with the fabulous crust you cooked up for your fun pizza.
