September was the month that Kelly picked to send a wonderful envelope of fall goodies. She had mentioned that we could use the sunflower (that was on the white envelope) in case we wanted to recycle the image. Well, I decided that that was a challenge...accepted!
I fussy cut the sunflower and the words from the white envelope. I then decided that the sunflower really didn't show up well on top of the Daffodil Delight...just a little too soft. So, I used my prisma pencils to add some more color to the image to make it pop more! After cutting/coloring them....I mounted them on other paper to make the image a little more sturdy. The sunflower and leaves were on an ivory piece of scrap and the words went on some brown. I had to get a little creative with the sunflower because it was close to the bottom of the envelope and had those little black marks on some
of the petals. I think I managed to hide those quite well!!!
Thanks for a great fall kit, Kelly!
