This card was designed using the long ago retired Betsy the Beekeeper for the SC663 Sketch Challenge (I modified the sketch for an A2 card vs. square) and the WT649 "Domestic Inspiration" Challenge.
My hubby and I collect antique honey dishes so when this stamp set was available back in the early 2000's, I knew it would have a permanent position in my stamp collection as well :-) The Domestic Inspiration was perfect since we have approx 75 different honey dishes and all have to have a bee or beehive for us to add them to our collection :-)
I am also linking to the USEIT2017 Challenge (I have not used Betsy the Beekeeper in ages) as well as the ALl Occasion Card Challenge for September.
I will update the post to my blog when I have a chance to post it there- lol!!
Hugs and I hope you have a blessed week, sweet friends!

Julie, I was so tickled to see this card! I had this stamp set a long time ago and used it often. Love the turquoise blue in the background of your pieces; it really makes the images come to life. How interesting that you collect honey dishes. I can see why you hang onto this set. Fabulous card! TFS

I LOVE these older sets! Now I want to pull mine out. I've been so busy lately I didn't even get to make a card yet, seeing this definitely gives me mojo! Hopefully I'll get one up before the week is through

Adorable and so cute, Julie! I was just going through my sets the other day trying to decide which ones to sell and came across Betsy. Needless to say, she is still on my shelf....now you've inspired me to pull her out and use her along with Nellie and Franny. I kept all three!

Love seeing this great older stamp resurrected for your card today. Sometimes I think we should have a weekly challenge that one can only use those old and wonderful classic stamps we all have in our collection that just don't see much useage anymore. Everybody seems to focus on the new, new, new, but yet with the money we have spent on this craft, some of those older stamps still hold a spot in our stamp collections. They should be valued as well, just sayin'!
