I have tried the tissue paper, never added embossing powder. What a difference. I just added a butterfly and some sequins I had already cut from another project. I didn't want to cover up the background.
I followed the instructions on the challenge page. I cut my tissue larger than my paper and wrapped it around the edges, like wrapping a package. I used stamp pads and alcohol Frost Shimmer Mist to spritz the ink. TFL

Oh, gorgeous!!! And copper is still very much on trend. Yes, I too hate covering backgrounds up after putting time into making them, so I think something like this openwork butterfly is perfect.

The aqua and copper are a beautiful combination! This takes me back 50 years to when I lived near the Bisbee Copper Mines in Arizona - This is quite reminiscent of the artwork from the resident artisans.

Your card is gorgeous. I love the colors you achieved with this technique and the embossing over it really added to it. Your butterfly was the perfect embellishment for your card.
