These have to be THE fussiest, putzy-est cards I have ever made! They are for the June Christmas Card Challenge , to create a Christmas card featuring a religious theme.
I followed the steps in the Step Pop-Up card tutorial, and tweaked them a bit for this particular stamp set and scene. Sorry the photo is so bad; details are hard to see! The card in the upper left of the photo shows the outside/cover of the card; the other three show the cards open and the figures "popped up" to create the nativity scene.
I stamped the stable outline with Not Quite Navy onto the light grey CS, & fussy-cut the inside of it, so the Holy Family would fit inside. I stamped all the figures with NQN on the light grey CS & fussy-cut them all out. I cut strips, scored & folded them to make the little 'boxes' to use to pop the figures out. The wise men are towards the front edge, and fold backwards onto the sentiment panel (if I'm careful folding!). They are pointing to the Star, which is stamped in White Craft ink & heat-embossed using Winter White EP.
The outside/front panel has an angel stamped & heat-embossed using the WW EP & Craft ink. The sentiment on that panel is stamped in VersaMark & heat-embossed with Deep Blue EP.
Whew. :-)

Jaw drop! Liz, these popup cards are incredibly gorgeous and so unique! You definitely put a lot of time and effort into these stunning cards, and the recipients of these cards are going to be over-the-moon delighted with them. The fronts are just as beautiful as the insides are. I am super impressed! ~Karen.
