I created this card for my counselor who just retired. After cutting & scoring the card base from white cardstock, I cut the patterned paper pieces to go on the panels. I didn't have quite enough of the blue pattern to use for the horizontal piece without cutting into a whole piece of paper, but did have 2 small pieces of that pattern that had the design in the right orientation. So I trimmed them to the height I needed, and adhered them to my card base, covering the gap with the greeting. I inked all my patterned paper pieces with Chipped Sapphire along the edges to give some definition. I had already downloaded the clock face image off the Internet for another project, so I just sized it in Photoshop to fit this card, & printed it on white cardstock. I cut it with a "Stitched Circles" die, and die cut a mat with a slightly larger scalloped circle die. After I glued the clock to the mat, I pierced a hole in the center. I used a brad to attach 2 clock hands (I think they're The Paper Studio brand). I did squeeze a bit of glue under each hand after I had positioned them, and placed something heavy on top until the glue dried, just to keep them in place. I typed the greeting in Photoshop, printed it onto a piece of grey cardstock, & matted that with navy cardstock. I adhered that to the bottom (horizontal) panel, centered in front of the main panel. I had a bit of an ink smudge on one of the side panels, so I camouflaged it with Nuvo Crystal Drops. I also added drops in 2 other places, to create a visual triangle.
