This is my sample for CC651. Karen is our hostess and she chose pool party, peek-a-boo peach and black. Dessert Option this week is to use any green.
For my card, I decided to try the black magic technique. This was my first try at using a technique that's been around for awhile. Here is a link to the SCS tutorial.
Used the chrysanthemum flower - November stamp from CottageCutz and stamped in white craft ink on basic black cardstock. Once that dried, I used Prismacolor pencils in the coordinating challenge colors to color the image.
My birthday phrase is a die from PTI and cut in pool party cardstock. To complete my card, I added some pool party seam binding and a bow, scattered some peek-a-boo peach enamel dots and used a Stampin'-Up chalk marker to accent my image.
Hope you can play along with us this week. Karen has chosen some fun colors and the DT has some amazing samples to get you started.

I'm loving your old black magic card. The the pops of peach are eye catching and draw your eyes to the beauty of the pencil work. The bow is a beautiful addition and an elegant finishing touch.
