Not more than 20 minutes ago, it was 101 degrees, a T and L storm blew in, brought flash flooding, and hail, and the temp is now down to 75. And the T and L still continues. Off to the west were blue skies. This is what summer can be like in Dixie. A very welcome reprieve from the heat. And we love these storms.
This wild mustang represents the wild mustangs that still roam the vast open lands in Nevada. Crossing Hwy 50 you will sometimes get a glimpse of a herd. They really are a majestic beast.

Jennifer, it must be a thrill to see these wild herds! I'm sure the thunderstorms in your area are quite dramatic and a spectacle to behold. Your rearing stallion captures the "wildness" of the West.....a beautiful image. The barbed wire embossing is a perfect added touch as is the conch.
