I literally dreamt about this stamp set when Altenew released it, so clearly I had to buy it if I was ever to get any sleep again. First I embossed the full medallion in copper. Then I did a huge test strip of colors to see what I liked best--not too bright and yet complementary. All the colors are stamped into their space. It's amazing how different the same "color" can vary between the Distress Inks and Distress Oxides because of the way the pigment sits on the paper vs soaking in. This is definitely a bigger card than I usually make, but I can also see using bits of the medallion on A2 cards.

I love the stamp set you used and the way you colored it! It is awesome to think how colors can change how we perceive a stamp!
Thank you for playing along with us over Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge -- it was very special because we are celebrating STAMPtember so we thank you twice! We hope to see you again next week!
