Starting to bond with my Distress Oxide inks. I inked the sun pattern with Vintage Photo, spritzed it with water, pressed it onto the avocado paper and weighted it down with a book. Came back later, delighted to see the variation in colors. Went through some scraps for some southwestern background colors and dp and went to town with my little cactus set. Layered papers & ribbon. A fun card to make.

We had the same idea with a trio of cacti. Great minds think alike. This looks like a fun one to make. The background technique turned out super. Love the potted cacti. Terrific card! TFS
Such a cool background!!! I sure thought I bought myself some of those dies, I think they are so cute. Haven't found mine yet ...or maybe I put them back. I am always doing that!

The background is a great one to use with your sweet cacti. It was a fun idea to cut them from DP, I especially like the little pots which somewhat remind me of ones my Dad once made.
