This is my 2nd entry for the Letter C Alphabet Challenge. The C in this card is the checked dsp and also the bright colors. This card is a big deal for me because I used DSP. Using dsp is infuriatingly hard for me for reasons that confuse even me. I use dsp as often as I fly (which has been 3 times in my entire life). I have a lot of dsp, but don't seem to know how to use it for anything other than making boxes with. So, I took a leap of faith and and I am not sure if I like it or not. I am so used to my clean and simple basic white cards so this seems too busy for me. But, it is adhered down so I can no longer change it. Ha! Thanks for loolking today. ~Karen.

Your card is beautiful, Karen! I understand what you are saying as I have trouble as well, and would rather use white or ivory. But you have made a fabulous card with the checkered paper and your lovely flowers. Maybe, it just takes some confidence ;)

I love it! I think it is a perfect background for your flowers. It actually helps them to pop out more. I think adding the frame and breaking up the checkered pattern worked quite nicely as well. Excellent job. TFS!

Karen you are on a roll with more than one entry for each letter this round. This is another beautiful entry for the letter C. The checked dsp provides such a happy background for your wonderful flowers. I really like what you did with the smaller frame, it helps bring more focus to your flowers and provides a perfect frame for your sentiment. Outstanding!

Oh my Karen...this is SUPERB in colors and your use of dsp...stick with it and it will come like second nature. I am the opposite...I started with dsp and had to get used to using cardstock...though I've always used cs for mat layers. Absolutely adore your colorful check with your chocolate stitched frame to host your lovely hibiscus! Close my eyes, and I'm in Hawaii!
