WT650 = "rescue me"....revamping a prior card to hopefully make it more pleasing.
I never really liked this card....some poor soul got it for Christmas. Using the same die cut and gold accents, I gave it a major facelift. Two die cuts were made: one in white CS and one with watercolor paper. The insets were watercolored and placed back into the white die cut.

I love the before card but I can totally see why you wanted to recreate it, this one just says POW! Fantastic job on the card. Nicely done on this challenge with your dressed up card.

You're too funny, Sallie. I'm sure the recipient of the first card did NOT consider themselves a poor sap!! Having said that, I do like your remake better. Your watercolors are so beautiful, love how well you create the highlights. Thanks for playing in my challenge.

While I like your original version, Sallie, this one just stands out. Your red ornament is gorgeous, and really pops against the white BG. With your watercoloring skill, your ornament seems to reflect the surrounding light. I am ready for a lesson :-)

Bestill my heart Sallie! This is so very gorgeous! The depth of color you achieve in your watercoloring is amazing. I admire all the little highlights you work into your water coloring too. I am chuckling about your "some poor sap" comment regarding the first card you made. While I can empathize with you, your first card is a very nice card and you used it as a springboard to make this beauty so it was both lovely and practical. This one is amazing! There is a quiet, simple beauty to this card that really speaks to one's heart. ~Karen.

Sallie, I like your original card too, but this remake is more eye-catching. I love the white bg because the Christmas ornament stands out more and I always love your watercoloring. This is a gorgeous rescue.
