Tricia...Double Happy Birthday wishes to you (I promise I didn't take the bite ;-)...SMILES)
This was a FUN card
I've never tried inlayed die cutting into a card before...so I didn't know if I could pull it off...card bravery lol
I trimmed some Hot Press Watercolor paper for my 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 card base. Next I die cut the donut window using the Stamps of Life Donuts2stamp dies large donut shadow die. I then taped down my card and stamped my donut image through the "window" and the "happy birthday". Next I watercolored the donut with Zigs Clean Watercolor Markers. As a final touch I used the "bite" die to take a bite out of the card corner and added some pink & brown splatters on the exterior of the card

Great card all around. You were very successful in your first try of inlaying. Great coloring and lots of fun. Love every part of it.
------------------------------ How did I get along before I found this wonderful addiction?
I have made hundreds of cards and so many people say it has brought joy to their lives which, in turn, brings joy to my life. Almost everyone I give them to says that they always save me, which I consider a huge compliment.
