Week number two for round 8 of the Alphabet challenges!! Today's letter is "B" with a double challenge to do a yarn block.
My bg was made wrapping eyelash yarn around a glass stamping block and dipping it directly into my stamp pad. Used Oxide inks in two colors and moved my block different directions. Love how the eyelash portion of the yarn was picked up by the ink.
The birds were die cut out of a piece of dictionary page gifted to me by an Alpha Sister!!
TFL!!

Eyelash yarn? Sounds very fun, I'll have to google it. Your eyelash yarn background turned out great and your text birds look really neat, I like the sponging.

I had some eyelash yarn, but I think I got rid of it. Now I wish I kept it, cause your background looks perfect with your sponged on dictionary paper birdies, Ann.

Really tweet card Ann! Your technique of using eyelash yarn to add color and texture to your bg is really interesting. Your wonderful scripted (and gifted) birds look like they are admiring your wonderful background! Fun! I love how you shaded these birds, added the branches and a wonderful die cut sentiment too. ~Karen.
