This is project two from one monoprint background.
Pulling from my stash of gelli plate prints, I selected one made on an old manila folder that was split in half. I used metallic gold and UB titanium acrylics for a subtle base print.
The circular images were stenciled with black acrylic paint which were colored in later with watered down acrylic paint. As for the pineapple stencil, I used Inka Gold paints.
For texture I used a recycled a baby wipe clean up cloth that I have been saving for re-use in projects.
I adhered double sided tape to the back of it and cut it in strips, cut one into a flag and one as is for layers of texture.
I printed the words from my computer and edged with gold paint pen. To cover a blob of gold from ink pen, oops! I pulled from my stash a glittered butterfly sticker.
