The challenging technique had me spending lots of time cutting and pasting the bricks to complete the composition. The patterned paper I stamped onto (from the scrap pile-maker unknown) is pretty bold but I felt the bright pink roses could stand up to it and the texture behind the brick would also help make the roses stand out. you know, I think the brick pattern to that paper is totally cool and makes that paper look much better than it would have been as a solid image this looks fantastic like this

Oh, I really like how this turned out. The initial panel I made to use for a sample was very 'busy' too, but the only reason I didn't use it was because I didn't want to cut it up! I think the flowers look great on that DP, and I particularly like the way some of the bricks overhang the textured pink.
