I made this card for the letter D Alphabet Challenge. The D in this card is for damask. I have not used this stencil in a while and I was feeling like playing with glass bead glitter gel so I prepared a card base and masked off the vertical fold so no ink or gel got onto the back of the card. I carefully applied cherry cobbler ink through the stencil using a finger dauber. This took quite a while to do because the spaces in this stencil are really tiny and it takes some effort to get the ink into these tiny places. Once done, I wiped my stencil off well, then I applied the glass bead glitter gel using a spatula until it is well covered. Carefully remove the stencil from the card base and set aside overnight to dry. I was really tickled with how this came out, but then I was stumped. I wasn't really making a card for any particular reason other than I was just goofing around for the fun of it. Then I remembered that my nephew is getting married in October so I decided this will be their wedding card. At least I now had a direction for this card. As easy as the beginning of this card was, is how difficult it was to pull it together. I tried using different cardstocks, ribbon, velvet ribbon, twine, punching borders, embossing sentiments onto cherry cobbler (you name it)- and nothing. When I finally gave up, then I remembered my red suede paper so I dug that out and I loved how it brought the richness of the embossing out. I looked through nearly every cricut cartridge I own before I found this sentiment in the Tie The Knot cartridge. The sentiment is cut from white glittered cardstock at 1.75". The theme of my nephew's wedding is double hearts so I added the 2 red gem hearts to honor their double hearts theme. Thanks for looking! ~Karen

Oh, my word. This is fabulous. So nice when you are in the process of making to remember that you do indeed need a card for an upcoming event.......This is a wonderful wedding card for them and I am sure will be treasured.
Me too!!!! I'm on my phone and. Ant see the beads at all. But I already know how great you are with those beads. You introduced all your alpha sisters to them and I know those who have used them made gorgeous cards. So I have a inkling of the gorgeousness this is and so special.

AWESOME...your damask is with the glass bead stencil over Cherry Cobbler is beautiful. I love the red for a wedding card...my daughter's colors were red, black, and ivory. This would have been a perfect card for her!!
