Barbara is our hostess this week and she has chosen: berry burst, so saffron, pear pizazz, and for dessert: flowers! I used zig watercolor markers in corresponding colors (as close as I could get). This also works for Jeanne's DTGD challenge.
On a piece of watercolor cs I white embossed the flower stamp. Then I watercolored with my zig clean color markers, using a light gray as my neutral for the bg. Splattered diluted white acrylic paint and also the pink and black ink. The white barely shows, but softened the bg. Stamped the sentiment, matted in black and adhered to card front. Added sequins for that something extra.

I love the beautiful effect you achieved with your watercoloring and Zig pens, Maura. The gray background is a perfect touch and makes the flowers really pop. Love this!
