This is for my wonderful DD sis Cheryl's DTGD challenge.
Depending on the image you are colouring, sometimes photocopy paper looks even better that cardstock.
To get a slightly textured feel, I sat the photocopy paper print on top of a 'rough-tooth" paper pad. I have found with the Prismacolour Pencils, I get different effects depending what I am resting the paper on.
To get a very smooth finish, I just sit the printed image on top of 4 or 5 sheets of copy paper. One on the other great things about printing images on copy paper is the ease of fussy cutting.
LOL I just noticed that I didn't finish fussy cutting. The easy fix for this is to colour the white paper in the same colour as the background.
I recently purchased a product called Zest It. It's used for blending coloured pencils. It works like Gamsol, but it is "desk friendly". It comes in a plastic pot, filled with a sponge that is impregnated with a lemon scented blending solution. It's made in the UK.

What absolute cuteness, Susie!! I love images of children that bring out that sweetness and innocence of their years. Mo just masters that with her art. Beautifully colored!!!

Oh, Sis! I LOVE this color and your amazing coloring! I can almost hear them whispering..."hey, our sisters are watching us!" Hehe! I love how you've colored their hair and how beautiful it looks with the same background! That's a brilliant idea that really pulls it all together. And I agree with you about using regular copy paper. I've used it a number of times, and I always color with paper (most always a clipboard with a stack of it) underneath as I color. Then I can move it around when I color. I am thrilled to pieces, Sis, that you made a card for my challenge! I LOVE it...and LOVE YOU! Hugs, my DD sis! xoxo

I love the colors and all your tips for coloring. For the life of me I can not figure out where you hint you forgot to cut. I love the coloring on the images and had no idea of the different ways of coloring you talk about. You have awesome texture here my friend.

Wow, Susie! The little girls whispering to each other is a remarkable image, and your coloring of the image is outstanding. I have never tried working with printer paper, but you certainly are skilled at it! Great card, Susie!! Hugs!

This card is absolutely adorable!! For some reason I've been drawn to you and your beautiful cards. But, as I've continued to look at them I've realized something is missing, Susie! I came along just in time to save you! This is the deal! With your creative mind and my totally blank mind we could do wonders in the world of card-making. You can continue to create your masterpieces, but I'll be here when you need me to advise you! When you have a brain freeze, I'll tell you how to make the best chocolate cake you have ever eaten. When you are confused about which brush to use or what color paint to use, just call me! I don't sing too well, but I'll hum a few verses of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" to you. Problem solved! Now, you're beginning to see how much you need me, right? Just give me a call and I'll come running (actually flying). I've always wanted to visit Australia!!!
