This card is for TriciaÂ’s Dare To Get Dirty challenge.
I love this stamp set and get such good results when I use it. It always makes me happy.
I decided to use my Jo Sonja acrylic paints as watercolours (which is easy to do so long as you realize they wonÂ’t be quite as translucent as watercolour paints) They are; Brilliant Violet, Diox Purple, Cad Yellow Mid, Moss Green, Olive Green, Red Earth, Gold Oxide and Pacific Blue as the pale wash around the images. I also added some warm white to tone down some of the Brilliant Violet and the Pacific Blue wash.
I have also used some artistic licence here, I know hydrangeas are blues and pinks with some rusts but this card is for a dear friend that loves purples. The bee has yellow and Wink of Stella clear on the wings. The flower centres have a little dot of liquid pears in Buttercup.
You will have to play along to find out what the technique / challenge is.
