I made this card for the letter M alphabet challenge for Mermaid. I did not do the double challenge which was to make a Mother's Day card (I am rather behind here). I stamped and die cut the mermaid, fish, oyster and turle and colored these images with copic markers. Then I was stumped. I happened upon a youtube video by Effie who is the owner of The Ton Stamps and that solved my problem because I love how she created the sea bottom and water on her card here: . I did not have the same stamps for the water so I used the detailed layer of my Kitchen Sink Stamps Cabin by the Lake water to create the water portion of this card and I just used a paint brush to add color for the sea bottom. Then stamped over the sea bottom with the sand stamp in the mermaid set. I added a glittery gold layer all around the image scene for some additional sparkle. I used clear wink of stella on the mermail's tail and the 2 pearls. This was a really fun card to make. Thanks for looking! ~Karen.

Magnificent mermaid card. Your water and sand are amazing, thank you for sharing that link. I watched it and was amazed at the way the background was created and I like yours just as well. I like the colors you used for the mermaid and your fish and turtle. Fabulous!

Beautiful! Now you have shown me how to use an image. I bought this in the last couple of months but haven't used it yet. Thank you for the inspiration! Great job on the sea bottom! I will have to figure out something for that.
