TLC647: we were to make our own plaid. I have a plaid ornament so tried to reflect the curve of the ornament a bit in my plaid.
CAS438: Christmas in July.
I wasn't going to participate today, but then I thought of this idea and couldn't resist trying it. I punched the ornament from heavy cs and then used that as a stencil to outline the ornament and do the plaid. This is a one layer card. I added Wink of Stella to the pine bough for some sparkle though you can't see it in the photo. Added a silver border to three sides with the marker and heat embossed the sentiment though something strange happened with that so it looks a little odd, not sure what happened.

Beautiful. Fabulous CAS design. Love the open space. Terrific DIY plaid. Love how you curved it for the ornament. Awesome. Love the non-traditional colors. Great job with both challenges! TFS
