Today's Mixability challenge is to use gingham on your project. I only have gingham ribbon, so that is what I used. I used Distress Oxide inks (Iced Spruce and Worn Lipstick) and the ink smoosh technique to create a background. I die cut a portion of the bg with the stitched rectangle die and then stamped the bird on a branch from Moon Lake. Stamped the sentiment on Soft Sky and punched with the Word Window punch. Added the black and white gingham ribbon, sentiment and enamel stickers then matted on black, then onto soft sky card base.
This is also for CC632 - Pink and Slate Sky

This is a really lovely, soothing card, the colors are wonderful, and the cute gingham grounds your black stamped image. I love the pop of the enamel accents as well, and that stitched rectangle die is just the perfect touch.

Such a pretty color combo. Aren't you just loving these new inks? Love the terrific background you created.

CALMLY SERENE card with its muted watercolor smooshed bg...nicely done! Love that retired stamp...it in itself is serene! Love how your enamel shapes bring out the pinks the your bg and your cardbase brings out the blues. It is a lovely card!
