For today's WT challenge ("Wanna Help me Paint the Fence"), I used some of the new Festive Holly papers from Heartfelt Creations, as well as one of the stamps/dies in the collection. I saw a card in an HC video in which the designer cut the center from one of their card fronts (from the paper pad) and turned it horizontally at the bottom of the opening. I thought it looked really cool, so that's what I did, using a craft knife to cut out the center of the card front. I added just a bit of sky/snowflake DP at the top of the opening and mounted a die-cut holly/cardinal piece in the corner. I added some clear lacquer to the cardinals and the holly berries and adhered the sentiment at the bottom.

This has a wonderful vintage look about it, and I love how you have arranged all the images with the layered borders.

What gorgeous paper and what a sweet cardinal and holly image - so beautifully coloured, too. All the layering adds a real touch of festive luxury to this beauty.

Clever positioning of the fence. Of course, cardinals in their beautiful RED are perfect against either the white, or green as well!!
