when I saw the ways to use challenge and read what Carla wrote I knew what to do
I found a digi print from Tom Sawyer and printed it onto the white linen, cut it and scored the lines sponged witth gray ink cut here and there into the borders stamped the sentiment and cut it out glued onto black linen and cut it once again, finally added some black wool and colored only the apple red and the little leaf green

What a great digital image!! There is something so old-fashioned and comfortable about seeing someone painting a fence.

Totally awesome way to feature this Tom & Huck image! The sponged / scored linen made a wonderfully dilapidated fence - probably the next on e that need painting!

I love this image - it is perfect, and vintage!! I like the way you folded down the edges to make it look more fence-like!!

Anita, your card made me smile with delight! That illustration with the fence as the bg is perfect. Thanks for playing in my challenge and treating us to your creation!
