Love the sketch for today - what fun! I have an extra layer, but I love me some layers.
I have finally fallen for Distress Oxides - I was fighting it but I discovered they are super fun when covering up sponging errors. I only own one ink pad (the blue I used on the water), but it worked perfect for correcting the errors I made on the tree reflections (I hand drew them). So now I need more!
Hope your week is going well! Hugz

Such a Beautiful summertime scene in the tropics, Nancy! Lovely sponging....I like those bits of white added to the water to make it more realistic! The stamped parrot on your matting is really cool....your creation looks like a postcard~

What a cool, dreamy birthday card. Your palms are reflected perfectly, I've never attempted reflections - I'd need to be on medication before I tried that!

What a gorgeous tropical sunset, Nancy! No....you can't stop with just one Oxide ink. It's like an addiction....you will want more as they blend beautifully! LOL!

Awesome, I can feel the heat from the sun and the cool shimmer from the water. I have been resisting oxide inks too....guess I'd better put my order in now. Lol.

I am loving my oxide inks too. I just love the layering you can get with them and each color holds it qualities. This is a beautiful tropical card, and makes me dream of the perfect summers full of colors and pleasant climates.

This is gorgeous Nancy. The tropical theme is perfect for this time of year. That Parrot is just darling! Just when you think you have every possible supply that you could imagine.....along comes something else that you "just have to have"!!! lol I bought four of the distress oxides at the Scrap Expo in Orlando in May. Miss you so much too! Great to see you here at SCS.
