My background is made with distress oxides smooshed on a craft sheet, spritzed with water....I also added some perfect pearls to that mix so the result is very shimmery. I also stamped a script bg stamp on top of that. I added some teeny, tiny gems to some of the bottom branches. That's about it...

Oh LOVERLY...a Lavinia fairy silhouette! FABULOUS BG...so many elements to make is perfect. Is that doodling or part of the BG stamp? If you added it...perfect!

Polly, this card is gorgeous! I love those soft, yet cheery colours. I just need to unpack my oxide inks and play with them! That silhouette fairy is so pretty and the perfect accent to the background. I love that foliage too. Into my favs!

Lovely card, Polly. As usual the BG is beautiful and you've put in those small finishing details - the doodling around the edges, those little gems - that really give extra depth to the card.

That wrinkle-free distress background is so soft and just beautiful - even more so, I imagine, with the shimmer. Those branches, they are what really caught me, I just love them! I have two old teacups from my grandma with a branch design a little like that.
