Another LO completed as part of the June VSBN sketch challenge. It started very close to the sketch, but I had some new chipboards on my craft table itching to be opened, so things took a slight detour . In fact, the whole process had a few detours....LOL
The bg cardstock was originally edged in white ink but by the time the LO was finished, I'd decided it needed to be black. Additional circles cut were also added but I think the original sketch can still be found :;
The zip was originally embossed in black glitter powder, but it looked too dark. Nuvo mousse was painted on and has given it a shine and rustic look which the photo doesn't do justice. I'd forgotten when drying the mousse that the gold paper is on acetate and melted part of it stuck behind the zip, but as the LO is meant to give a sense of torn edges and paper, I realised that sometimes the smallest mistakes can actually work
Thanks for taking time to look at my LO.
Happy day

Love succession photos, always so fun to see when we have them. Nice work with the patterns. Looks great displayed on the bright blue with your accent of red. Love the zipper work!
