For this week's summer CAS challenge. My childhood summers were wrapped around our family's custom baling service. We were the only ones in the area with the tractors/mower/rotary rake/baler, so we'd bale not only our own hayfields but also our neighbors'. I spent many teen hours in the fields, driving our old Ford Ferguson tractor, bellowing out show tunes at the top of my lungs while raking perfect windrows... Safe. No one else could hear me over the sounds of the rig.
I never wore boots. Just old tennis shoes with the laces removed, so I could yank them off fast and whack the horseflies.
Glamor.

Wow! I love this card, Brenda! The image of the little girl next to the hay bales is fabulous and brings back memories similar to the one you shared! Love the coloring of the image and the sky is gorgeous! Great card, Brenda!

First, I have to comment on your terrific write up....i can picture you, the tractor and the flies. Plus, I love show tunes...i used to know all the words to most of the songs from Oklahoma and Carosel. Your card is adorable...great job on tg e sky. I like how soft and light you colored everything.
