Getting caught up on the Christmas challenge! These cards are for the March challenge , to make a card using a poinsettia or other floral on our card.
I'm not sure if the technique I used is classified as faux silk or felted cardstock--I separated the layers of my Christmas napkins, and glued the decorative (top) layer to cardstock with Ranger's Multi Medium-matte! :-) After the multi medium dried, I die-cut the napkins using the largest label 8 die, and then cut each one in half. I adhered them to gold CS, & trimmed a narrow border. Inked up the Harlequin background stamp with Versamark & stamped over the card front. Adhered the half-label to the card front. Stamped Merry Christmas with Versamark on the Bazzill Natural CS, & heat-embossed using the Gold EP. Trimmed out a banner-shape, & adhered to gold CS; trimmed a narrow border. Used dimensional adhesive to layer over the label. Added the pearl bling to the upper corner.
