Coast to Coast is one of those old SU sets that will never leave my collection. I colored it with Copic Markers then used clear wink of stella on the water.
I used the mesh embossing folder to add texture to the soft sky paper.

I can see why you say this set will never leave your collection. That's a marvelous scene. Your card could go to either a man or woman, which makes it twice as nice.

I too have the Coast to Coast set, which is part of what I call my classic collection. It's too bad that SU doesn't reissue some of those great classics like the stipple butterfly, hydrangea, and this one. They retire things way too soon in my opinion. Love this pretty card and that pretty diecut background.

What a wonderful scene, Sue, and I agree that this is one of the classics that I wish SU would bring back. I love how you've used the sketch and love the DP you've used. Rich texture...and it makes a great masculine card! Hugs!

I always regret not getting this set! I love lighthouses and the background for this is fabulous.
I agree with Liz - SU could 'refresh' and reissue some of the old favorite sets!!
Just found a low enough price on eBay that I couldn't resist!!!
