This LO started out as a copy of a sketch in the VSBN Challenge, but by the time it was finished, I was wondering what had happened to the sketch...oops.
There were no fancy techniques used. Papers cut and stuck down. Paste slapped/smeared through a stencil. Inks and water sprayed with lots of dabbing. By this time the LO was starting to resemble a muddy mess so more ink and water sprayed and lots of dabbing. A little improvement but by this stage I wasn't really sure where it was heading, so out came my circle stamps.
This was when I looked at it and thought this can either get worse or I can make this LO work Out came a white gelato pen and after lots of finger rubbing in the circles it was starting to look somewhat improved.
Photos stuck on scraps of paper and popped up and it was lacking lots. Out came packets of emphera and embellishments and before I knew it I had stuck down a lot of wooden cogs. It was getting a grunge look and I was liking it
It was during this moment I remembered some gold embellishments I had...popped some of those on to give it a lift and clock stickers. Edges distressed and more finger rubbing on the circles. I was having lots of fun but realised if I didn't stop at this stage, this LO would be full of cog embellishments and white patches.
I decided the ink spray and spots add to its appeal...LOL.
Hope you like my attempt at a "grunge LO". Thanks for looking.
Happy day

Thank you ladies....your kind comments keep me motivated to try again. Sharon, mine is also a mess and why I added lots of embellishments..lol. I do like playing and seem to just want to use paste and stencils at present.
