I don't know about you, but this is like dabomb I want to spin in a circle & throw my hands up in the air crackle paste for me.. ( I have bought tons of this stuff over the years with little to no visible crackle when dry) SO, I shot lots of photos of it drying because, the crackle started almost instantly. Will plug all the shots onto the blog here .
when you first smooth it on, its white, as it dries the color ( I sponged these oxide inks through the stencil first) starts to peek through, when it was mostly dry I did add some clear wink of stella over the berries and the centers of the flowers. I did get a couple of spots that the crackle seeped under the stencil, and it dried white. so, as far as a learning curve goes that is not too bad. Oh and it doesn't really wash off the stencil later either. but, I didn't try too hard to clean it either. thanks for this challenge Polly, & tfl.

This turned out perfect, no wonder you feel like celebrating! The crackle is fabulous and the color looks nice and subtle against the pretty green card stock. Love it!

Stacy, I totally LOVE this card and the results. I saw your blog post and really love all the photos you showed. Beautifully done, and I love this stencil. So glad you finally found a true crackle paste! (P. S. Try soaking the stencil in something like Real Green...or whatever it is called...ha!). Hugs! xoxo
