This is the 24th Wednesday of 2017, so I read the 24th chapter of the book "50 Truths Worth Knowing" and used it as my inspiration for today's card.
Anndee had taken piano lessons as a child - and was afraid of her teacher. She always feared she would make a mistake, hence receiving a stern reprimand from the teacher. After four years, she quit the lessons.
Then, in her 20's, she decided to give piano another try. A new teacher, but old habits are hard to lay aside. She played cautiously, barely tickling the ivories. One day the teacher asked her why she was so uneasy playing and she replied she was afraid she'd make a mistake.
The teacher wisely showed her that mistakes weren't the important thing, rather, playing with passion was.
I can imagine Anndee did exactly what the quote on my card says. She took a deep breath and let it go.
