These backgrounds were our project at stamp group a while back. One of our members (thank you, Becky!) cut lots of scraps into 6 x 1 1/2 in. pieces and then cut each piece in half diagonally (from corner to corner). We then had the fun and challenge of picking combos that we liked. We arranged them on pieces of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 paper until we were satisfied and then glued them down with edge butted against edge. The lower left corner ends up wonky and a bit ugly, but gets completely covered by the sentiment circle. We used a paper trimmer to cut off all of the overhanging edges.
After the background was glued and trimmed I used a stitching die to pierce one side of each ray. The dots in MORE are also colored to match the papers.
