Still catching up on several weeks worth of card making -- this one was from the Featured Stamper challenge of 5/7/17 featuring JustCallMeNana aka Lynda (great "handle"! Both of my grandmothers went by Nana so it gave me a nostalgic twinge!)
It reminded me of some older dimensional stickers featuring birdhouses that I had been meaning to use in a card forever, and thought Mother's Day was a perfect opportunity! I started with a scrap of white cardstock and sponged light blue, pink, light and medium green on it to make a sky and grass background, then added the birdhouse and flower pot stickers. I attached this to a white card and sponged a little around the edge of the sticker piece. I then stamped the sentiment in eggplant ink, added a 3-D butterfly sticker from the same sticker set, and finished with a couple of scattered sequins.
I sent it to my mother-in-law for Mother's Day and she was very happy with it!
Congrats again Lynda, and thanks for the great inspiration!
