| | I was looking for inspiration in my stamp collection and realized that I had NEVER USED the Gladsome Garden set or even put it together! Time to change that!
Started with a pre-made white card and layered a scrap of purple patterned paper on it (I want to say it's from Crate Paper but not sure). Set that aside. Took a white scrap and stamped the grass/stems in light green then the flower in hot pink. I stamped twice each time I inked it--I like the effect of depth it give with the lighter flowers appearing to be behind the darker ones!
Then I layered the stamped piece onto bright green paper and tore the bottom, then added the bright pink eyelet thingies. Not sure if they are supposed to dent inward like that during setting but I like the way it looks anyway!
Used foam tape to attached this to card front and finished with a strip of green ribbon and stamping the Happy Birthday sentiment in eggplant ink.
Thanks for looking! |
