Its been a while since I have had the time to make a card and post it.
It has been so nice to sit down and just colour up some images and take the time to put a card together. Nearly forgotten how relaxing it is.
This is a card that I will send to a good friend in Canada - who loves cottages and gardens.
I look forward to sitting on the front port of this lovely little cottage - having a cup of coffee and chatting.
The image is coloured with Derwent Inktense Water colour pencils and highlighted with glitter pens.
I have just had a look at the colour challenge for this week and I think I have Sugar Plum flowers, Daffodil Daisies and lots of Green in the garden too to meet the challenge. Fingers crossed.
Hope you enjoy.

So nice to see you in the gallery Helen! Your scene is a wonderful tribute to the summer to come in this half of the globe! In Ontario this year the mosquitos and black flies are fierce and many. Has curtailed my cottage time a bit. I love the way you coloured this - the bright red of the rocker brings the eye right to it! Your sentiment panel is so pretty and goes with that image perfectly! Beautiful card!

I can see I missed a lot of your magic cards while I was away. Your colouring takes my breath away Helen. Hope you had a great holiday too and I look forward to seeing you back in the galleries.
