This is for our "K" challenge. So I "kased" a card by Kathleen Stamps. Thank you Kathleen. I changed the colors though. I stamped the sunburst in smoky slate and sponged with distress oxide. I did not have the birthday stamp she used so I used one I had. TFL

Kute! This would be a good kid's card for a variety of ages. Love the balloons & strings. Love the sunburst stamp, too. Like Kathy, I think I must now get this stamp set. The embellishments look terrific. Well done with Letter K with your Kase. TFS

Wow Shirl, what an elegant birthday card this is, and yet very fun and celebratory too! I love the balloon grouping positioned by this wonderful sunburst with greeting. I would never have used this sunburst stamp in this manner so thank you for the terrific inspiration. The sponging, twine, layers and brads make for a perfectly coordinated card! Hugs! ~Karen.

This is so classy looking! Love the look of the smoky slate for the sunburst image - the sponging in the center gives the effect of smoke after a firework has exploded! It ties in perfectly with the cluster of die cut balloons....and those perfectly placed bling are giving me sequin-placement-envy! Very impressive!
