This is my card for CC636. Roberta is our hostess and she has chosen old olive, tangelo twist and cherry cobbler for her color palette. Dessert Option is to use ribbon or twine. I am claiming dessert this week. My tree is tied to the car with twine (lol) - even if it's paper!!!
As soon as Roberta selected these colors, I thought I would try and make a Christmas card. Working the tangelo twist was a bit difficult, but I managed it.
I used a stencil and some 3D molding paste to create a snowy background. As soon as I removed the stencil, I sprinkled dazzling diamonds glitter. IRL it's quite sparkly.
My Christmas car carrying the Christmas tree and gifts is a die from CottageCutz - Holiday Car. The pine tree is also a die from Cottage - "Woodland Friends".
I cut a hill using a die from Lawn Fawn and added chunky glitter to the top. Stamped my sentiment and added a few candy dots to complete my card.
Hope you can play along with us this week. There is lots of inspiration from the Color Challenge Design Team - Roberta, Barbara, Maura, Karen, Marg and Pat.

You and Marg are reminding me it's time to start on Christmas cards. This one is so cute with the family car on its way home with the tree and gifts. Live the 3-D snow and the tree and birds. Love the sentiment, too!

Oh Mary, this Christmas card is just the sweetest! I'm loving that car complete with tree and oodles of presents inside and on top (which also have ribbon/bows)! Nicely added dimensional snowflakes~

I can see the sparkle of your snow and the die cut scene is adorable. I like the extra pop of color with all the cardinals in your pine tree - Nature's christmas decoration !!?!

OMGosh, this would be a favorite for me today - so adorable and I have a soft spot for VW bugs since that was our first car together as a married couple - we had a baby blue super beetle - 1974. Those were the days......
