Roberta is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has chosen Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Tangelo Twist. (I had to sub Tangerine Tango for Tangelo Twist.) The dessert option this week is ribbon or twine. I wanted two servings of dessert, so I used ribbon AND twine!
I couldn't wait to try my new turnabout stamp from Concord & 9th. It is perfect for the color challenge! You stamp in one color, turn your cardstock, stamp in a second color, and so on. I added VersaMark and gold embossing powder for my fourth color on the turnabout.
I made a tag with the Tag Topper punch, stamped one of the additional images from the same stamp set with VersaMark ink, and embossed it in white. Rounded the corners, and edged with InkaGold. Tied it up with ribbon and twine, and added a single sequin.
This card is also being entered in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: A Bit of Sparkle. Between the gold embossing and the sequin, I think it qualifies!
Thanks for stopping by and please play along with us this week!

Wow, Barbara, I have never heard of a turnabout stamp, but it looks awesome, and I think I need one now! This is such a cool graphic look and the rich colors are perfect!

What an amazing background. I haven't tried the technique but feel I must after seeing this beauty. How did we live without the Misti? Best of luck in the Wednesday challenge, this is a winner in my opinion.
