I had been wanting to make a red-hatter bird card for Brenda's friend Alice who is the TPT destination this week. Today is my day off, and the challenge gods smiled in my favour with Shirley's choice of winged things for the F4A. I actually shaped the wing a little with a stylus, so it's slightly dimensional.
Stamped and masked the hat. Stamped the bird. Coloured with Polychromos pencils. Sponged in the grass, die-cut and edged the square with a black Sharpie and a fine black marker. Added Stickles to the flourishes on the hat.
The background was a Brusho disaster sitting in my box, but it had the purple I was looking for. I stamped the Wavy Lines on it with wilted violet, and then added the lacy borders. Finished it off with sequins.

Love the orientation and of this card, Sabrina! Like a top fold turned sideways. I have always shied away from those Crazy Birds because they all looked angry or annoyed to me, but you have given this one a sweet look with that tilted hat. Lovely!

Lots of stamps to get this fun, adorable card, Sabrina. Good work masking and stamping I really like the wavy lines on your Brusho background.

That fun fussy hat gives a whole new dressed up look to the species known a "red crested wrens"! You turned your "disaster" into a marvelous bg - love the horizontal purple lines.

That sassy little bird would make anyone smile, Sabrina. That hat is to die for, especially with the added sparkle. You have such a talent for taking what you consider to be disaster backgrounds and making them into beautiful creations.
