For this week's in my garden free-for-all challenge. I live on the deer trail from the Gowdyville hills to the Coast Fork of the Willamette River. Anything growing in my yard looks like these "trees"-- slightly Seuss-like-- having been nibbled around the middle (or shredded) by the deer as they pass through.

Oh how lucky to have real wildlife in your yard. I would love to see deer in my yard, but they would have one heck of a time getting here. Your card has such a nice peaceful feel, like those 2 deer just paused for a moment to nibble on the tree.

Oh, Brenda, this is beautiful and so serene! I know about deer and what they do. My parents lived in NJ and always struggled with having the deer nibbling in my mom's wonderful garden and other things. But they sure are gentle animals...and so beautiful! This is simply elegant and lovely! Hugs! xoxo
