Carla this was a fun fun challenge!! I remember skating in our garage all day long -- I love to skate as a very young child. I had those that had the metal wheels and the white leather. How old does that make me? Anyone care to guess? LOL

What a darling card! I remember those days when you needed a skate key to tighten the skates on your shoes! That was a time before we all had electronic toys! The good old outdoors was our playground! Getting back to your card, your coloring is perfect! I like the addition of the hearts too! Thanks for sharing!

Jan, this is adorable! Love the layout and your marvelous coloring, great job with the highlights. Like you, I skated around the garage. My roller skates strapped on and tightened with a key. Such good memories! Thanks for playing in the challenge and treating us to your fun card.

This has got to be one of the sweetest images I've seen with a child and dog! I love the plaid panel with your blue and red - just perfect! I used to skate in our garage and driveway all the time when I was growing up, too, but my skates were those ones you wore over your shoes and tightened up with a roller skate key ~ now how old does that make me?!!!

This is really cute -- love the flying pigtails! I too am of the generation of metal skates and skate keys. We can all keep each other company in the old folks home!
