I made a card for a boy's First Communion and kept it very modern, just using Marianne Design "Arched Window" (CR1259) referencing a chapel.
My PP's are from Scenic Route Paper-"North Shore"
I used for the front of my card "Barel Navy", and the backside of "Benson" for my grass.
My image is from a Decoupage sheet designed by Hetty Meeuwsen-3DHM0036, cut by hand into several layers and made 3D.
My sentiment says:
"A boyish smile
a sunny day
a little rascal
who does his First Communion" .

The cathedral window makes a lovely sentiment panel for a confirmation card. That little boy and his dog look like the best of friends. You are such a whiz with your scissors, Niki, adorable card! Thanks for playing in the challenge and treating us to a great example of the love between kids and pets.

Very fun first communion card! I tend to make mine too formally religious (white on white). I love the fun colors you used and the boy and his dog are darling!

This is just such a fun and perfect first communion card for a boy. The image is sweet as can be, made all the more interesting with the 3 dimensional look of your paper piecing. I love the bright and fun colors and papers for a boy, which just "pop" against your wonderful chapel window. Awesome card!
