I think it's taking me longer to fill out this form than to make the card! I was on a tear last night after finding this lovely rainbow striped paper when making a mother's day card for the Color Challenge from Tuesday and I just kept on going with it! I started to make a square card from 12" card stock but 6x6 looked so BIG. I cut the 6x6 card in half with fold at top and really liked the shape, though I'm going to have to hand make an envelope or just se the card as a gift enclosure. Love Bazzill textured cardstock for making colored cards, the feel and weight of it adds something.
Layered on a piece of green paper from the Carta Bella pad and rounded bottom corners. I stamped stem from Petal Pizzazz Stampin' Up set and punched flower from the striped paper. I attached it with pop dots and added the button in the middle. I attached ribbon to top and stamped the Alphabits alphabet twice then punched out the letters I wanted to spell "MOM" and attached.
Forgot how fun it is to use that Alphabits set, gotta remember to pull it out more!

Such a cute card for a Mom. Loving the stripes in the flower.
