Audrie's challenge this week is about sentiments. We are so lucky to have you as a challenge hostess...even in pain you give us a fantastic challenge. That's commitment. One of the reasons for making our own cards, is to convey a very personal message. Either it be a stamp sentiment or one we create. My card could be sent to numerous stampers on this site.....all the inspiration is priceless. It will be sent to one special stamper, GailMN. Much of my work has been done because of her encouragement. She knows how I have a mental block on watercoloring white flowers....she even sent me the beautiful card where she nailed the technique perfectly. With her card to look at, and encouragement gave it a try. Using a power poppy digi, printed and using a light gray gave it a try. Fussy cut out the digi...didn't like the bg. Added wink of stella...everything looks better with that miracle pen. Penned the saying...and added a border. TFL

What a blessing to have a stamping friend that encourages and shares her pointers! Your white flower looks amazing to me! And I have quite a few friends that I wish lived next door. Beautiful card, Linda.

had to smile when I read your description about the people on SCS.....as soon as I saw your sentiment, my mind went right there too.....so many talented people on here that I would love to meet face to face and see them in the process of creating their art.....by the way, this card is gorgeous

Oh, Linda, what a gorgeous card and a wonderful inspiration piece too from our precious Gail...who is so amazingly talented! I love her card with the white ducks, and what a precious write-up about how inspiring she is to you. She is to me as well. And you are amazing and inspire me all the time. I can't quite grasp how you struggle after seeing your stunning work, but I know how much I can struggle. What a beautiful tribute to Gail, and I know she will love this card. I wish we could live next door to each other as well...all three of us...plus a whole bunch of others here on SCS! Hugs! xoxo

This sentiment would be great for all of my sisters so we could be just like our grandmother and great aunts who all lived on the same street
Love this.
