Well, I don't know, this is the best I've ever achieved with this technique, but still if I tried to buff all the black off the ep, I'd end up pilling the paper. My ep seems to end up with a slightly pitted surface.
Anyway, I was working late today and we're going out with friends but thanks to Ky's early post I was able to sponge a piece of white card with my distress inks before work, ensuring it would be dry by the time I got home. Once home, I stamped the quatrefoil with Versamark and embossed with clear EP. Then I rubbed black all over it, and buffed it off the embossed parts. Matted on gold card and then onto a black base.
I got a wonderful birthday gift of Mermaid Markers. I was playing with them more properly last night, but as they were still on my desk, that's what I used to colour the stamped flowers and the die-cut leaves. I used foam tape for a little dimension and some gold cord, plus Stickles in the flower centres.

WOW! What a great trellis for these gorgeous flowers! Love the extra sparkle from the cord - sets off the stickles so well. I'm glad you played my challenge!

I personally like how your tisted black magic Moorish tile bg turned out, Sabrina.....your flowers and leaves remain the focal point and don't compete with a bold bg. It is stunning and striking card with those vibrant colors.
