For my second tea card, I stamped and painted the little teapot and cup onto my teabag from this morning (Tazo Awake English Breakfast--yum!). I used the Mojo Monday sketch, but I wanted to use a doily on the card which was big so I did a little bit of re-engineering the sketch. This morning I used the doily as a coaster while I drank my tea, to give it a little more character. You can see some tea stains if you look really close. This is the same sentiment that I used for the teabag art Inspiration Challenge--I think it's so fun. I sponged one panel with Tea Dye ink and the other panel I colored with Spectrum Noir TB2. For the tag on my teabag, I wanted to use the heart from the Slice of Life set, but I have no idea where it is. How did I lose a whole stamp set? I'm sure it has something to do with one of the little monsters that lives in my house. LOL. Anyway, I had to draw on the heart as close as I could come to the stamp that I was looking for.
So, the funny thing about this challenge is that I generally drink Red Rose tea and right now their little figurines are "Americana". I was excited about getting the "Boston Tea Party" figurine in the new box that I opened this weekend and was trying to explain it to my 3-year-old. Fortunately, he watches "School House Rock" on DVD, and there's a song about it. Anyway, I put the figurine in my photo.

Oh, well done you for taking up that suggestion from the options. I was hoping somebody would . Cool that that image was just the perfect size. Hmm, I wonder if it was one of the ones I kept from that set? I love the warm sunny colours in this, just as cheering as a fresh cup of tea. I just looked up the tea company you mention - some of those little figurines are so sweet!! Earl Grey is my favourite tea.

Wonderful colors and textures on this card!! Your painted teapot on the teabag is so cute and love the doilies behind it. I have this stampset but can say with certainty, have never used the teapot stamp. This is just super!!!
