Now as I have been going backward with some of the previous featured stampers, I've been trying to only use cards from before the challenge date so that I'm using the same ones as everyone who did the challenge on time -- but I saw Linda's card and had to make an exception because I LOVE quick cards that use up scraps, as I am up to my eyeballs in scraps!
I decided to combine with this week's Ways to Use It challenge for Earth Day, to use earth tones, and picked out scraps accordingly. My only bummer is that one of the strips was just a tiny bit short and didn't go off the paper like it should but I had already stuck down the other one and crossed it with other strips so I let it go rather than starting all over. But now its driving me a bit nuts when I look at it! Obviously I need to send this to someone and get it out of my sight.
So I found some coordinating scraps and cut them into strips which I stuck on the card front with tape runner. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of tan patterned paper and attached it to the back of the frame. I put bronze brads through the holes in the frame before I stuck the whole thing down with dimensional tape. With the earth tones I think it makes a nice card for a guy to send or receive!
Congrats again, Linda/bubblestx4, hope you enjoyed your week! TFL!

Wonderful earth day colors and great coordination on the patterns! I love a card that can make a bold statement without being overly fussy and this (even with the peachy tone) is really gender neutral - so not only fast & scrap friendly but versatile besides. Super case of my card!!
